Summer in the garden / Suvi aias

*This time a little bit of our garden.It's really big & most of the garden is filled with trees & bushes, so it makes it shady.But I like it, I love the garden to be more like from the book of F.H. Burnett, Secret Garden- wild & undiscovered.But we still have some flowers/ bushes I love & would like to share with the others.There are many of them starting to bloom from the early spring like crocuses 'til the late autumn like asters, but here are some I caught to the photos at the second half of July.

*Seekord natuke siis meie aiast...See on tõesti suur ja enamuse aiast moodustavad puud ja põõsad, seega on aed hästi varjuline, mis mulle meeldib.Eelistan kui aed on nagu F.H. Burnetti raamatus "Salaaed"- metsik ja avastamata.Samas on meil on mõned lilled/ põõsad, mida tahaks ka teistele näidata.Muidugi on neid palju, alates varakevadistest õitsejatest nagu krookused võis siis päris hilissügisesed nagu astrid.Kuid siin on mõned, mis jäid minu piltidele juuli teises pooles.

Japanese Spirae / Jaapani enelas

-These two are still little ones.We bought them last year as the first part of our future hedge of spirae & they are doing great despite the rough winter.Couple of more years & we can have more plants & put them to the place we actually have planned them to be.And then probably with many other species.

-Need kaks siin on tegelikult alles suht noored.Ostsime nad eelmisel aastal, olles esimene osa meie plaanitud enelase hekist ja õnneks elasid nad karmi talve ilusti üle.Paar aastat veel ja me saame neilt rohkem võsusid, et istutada nad kohta, kuhu peaks tulema meie ettekujutuses hekk.Ja siis loodetavasti juba ka mõne teise sordiga.



Lilies/ Liiliad

-We actually have two species of lilies but the red/ orange ones are earlier bloomers & were blooming already at the beginning of the month.This white one is new in our garden, I bought its rootstocks last year but it didn't bloom then.But this year were blooming all three of them.

-Tegelikul on meil kaks erinevat liilia sorti, aga punane/ oranž on varasem õitseja ja see õitses juba juuli alguses.Valge on aga meie aia uustulnukas, ostsin selle juured eelmisel aastal, aga siis ta ei õitsenud.Kuid sel aastal õitsesid kõik kolm.

Fruits & berries / Puuviljad ja marjad

-This year seems to be very bacciferous with the different fruits & berries.And our garden is full of them- black, red & white currants, gooseberries, cherries, plums, pears, apples,Prunus...You name it & everyone is full of berries/ fruits.

-See aasta paistab olevat eriti marja ja puuvilja rohke.Ja meie aias on neid palju -must, punane ja valge sõstar, karusmarjad, kirsid, ploomid, pirnid, õunad, kreegid...Nimeta ainult ja kõik on vilju täis.


-apple trees are so full that there is real danger they will break their branches & this is already now when there is still time before they are ready.
-õunapuud on niivõrd õunu täis , et on tõsine oht, et oksad võivad murduda ja seda juba praegu kui viljade valmimiseni on veel aega.

-my favourites, cherries are almost ready.
-minu lemmikud kirsid on peaaegu valmis.


Roses /Roosid

-I love roses.This was my childhood dream to have a proper rosarium.And I've done my best to improve in it.I try not to take it too emotionally & so have kept the number of my roses quite low at the moment, 10 to be precise. But slowly I increase it. Not all of them hasn't started blooming yet, winter & spring were cold & it has taken time to recover from it.But those who aren't blooming yet have at least buds & eventually all will be blossom.Also have to say sorry that I'm not very good to remember all the names of my roses & there are only 10 of them, guess what will be if there will be more of them:).So, I might be mistaken.

-Ma armastan roose.Minu lapsepõlve unistus oli, et mul oleks korralik rosaarium.Ja ma olen andnud endast parima, et asi ikka edeneks.Proovin asja mitte väga emotsionaalselt võtta ja olen hoidnud oma rooside arvu suht väikese, praegu 10 roosi kui olla täpne.Aga tasakesi proovin seda numbrit suurendada.Mitte kõik roosid ei õitse veel kuna talv ja kevad olid külmad ja on võtnud aega, et sellest toibuda.Aga kõik, mis veel ei õitse on pungades ja lõpuks peaks kõigil olema õied.Samuti pean vabandama, et ei ole eriti hea rooside nimede meeles pidaja.Ja mul on neid ainult 10, mis veel siis kui neid saab rohkem olema:).Seega võin eksida.



-Parade.One of the finest bloomers in my garden.Starts the earliest & blooms all summer.
-Parade. Üks suuremaid õitsejaid minu aias.Alustab kõige varem ja õitseb kogu suve.

-Flamenco.I love the blossom of this rose but it's also very heavy so needs a good upholding.
-Flamenco.Mulle meedib selle roosi õis, kuid samas on see ka väga raske ning vajab korralikku toetust.

-Though among my own roses is my favourite one red one, white ones I like the most. Have all together 3 white roses.This one is 'Helga'.
-Ehkki minu enda rooside hulgas on minu lemmikuks üks punane, meeldivad valged mulle kõige rohkem.Kokku on mul 3 valget roosi.See siin on "Helga".

Birthday / Sünnipäev

*I didn't want to celebrate my birthday big but still it turned out into 3 separate birthday parties, one going out for a pizza with two of my best friends Viktoria & Heli & then walking on the beach.Then a BBQ with the family & finally a party at work.I didn't get many presents, mostly just money but I asked for it this time 'cos in the current economical situation it was the best idea & beside it left out all the silly presents I intend to have:).

*Mul ei olnud mingit tahtmist oma sünnipäeva suurelt tähistada, kuid ikkagi tuli välja kolm erinevat pidu, üks koos kahe parima sõbraViktoria ja Heliga pitsat söömas ja rannas jalutamas.Siis veel grilliõhtu koos perega ja lõpuks sünnipäeva pidu töö juures.Ma ei saanud eriti palju kingitusi, enamasti raha, aga seda olin ma sekord ka palunud kuna praeguses majanduslkus olukorras tundus see mõistlik ja pealegi jäid öra kõik tõsiselt mõttetud kingitused, millega mind tavaliselt õnnistatakse:).



*Walikg on the beach.Pärnu beach can be one of the most beautiful places in the world.You don't really have to go the other side of the earth for having a good beach.

*Jalutamas rannas.Pärnu rand on vaata, et üks ilusamaid kohti maailmas ( vaat' selles osas olen ma nüüd küll kolka patrioot:)).Sul ei ole tingimata vaja minna teisele poole maailma, et leida üks korralik rand.
*Yachts were sailing at the sea.

30 years / 30 aastat

-It all started on July 4, 1979, at 5.45 in the morning, at the hospital of Pärnu.
